Ohio Chili
Great served over pasta noodles, rice or great alone. Serve with warm cornbread, yummy!

Serves 8

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
1 1/2 lb Lean ground beef, chicken or vegetarian ground
1/2 C Water
2 Tb Chili Powder, or more to taste
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Ground cloves
2 Tsp Sugar
1 Tsp Garlic powder
1/2 ea Large onion, coarsely chopped
1 Can Whole tomatoes with their liquid - 28 oz
2 Can Red kidney beans with liquid - 16 oz


Instructions

In a large pot saute meat until it is browned about 7 to 10 minutes. Add the other ingredients and simmer gently for at least 30 minutes and up to 1 hour.
