Healthy Asian Tuna Steaks with Mushrooms
This light and healthy dish is low on fat and high on flavor.

Serves 2

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
2 ea Ahi (tuna) steaks
1 Tb Lemon juice - fresh
1/2 C Green onions, sliced
2 Tsp Garlic - minced
2 Tsp Ginger - minced
1 C Shitake mushrooms, stemmed, washed and sliced
1/2 Tb Chicken stock
1/2 C Orange juice - fresh
1 Tb Soy sauce
1 Tb Cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

Preheat 2 skillets over medium high heat. Sauté green onions, mushrooms, garlic and ginger in chicken stock 2 to 3 minutes; add orange juice, broth, and soy sauce. Season tuna with lemon juice and salt and pepper. In the other skillet sear tuna about 2 minutes each side or until desired degree of doneness. Serve toped with sauce and cilantro .
