Healthy Seared Asian Ahi
Light and healthy; this recipe is nice enough to serve to company.

Serves 2

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
2 ea Ahi (tuna) steaks
2 Tb Mirin or 1 tsp honey
2 Tb Lemon juice - fresh, divided
2 Tb Soy sauce
1 Tsp Sesame oil
1 Tsp Ginger - minced
3 Tb Green onions, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

Heat a skillet over medium high until really hot. Season ahi with 1 TB of the lemon juice and salt and pepper. Add ahi and sear 2 minutes each side or until desired degree of doneness. Remove ahi and add remaining ingredients. Reduce heat and simmer about a minute. Pour sauce over ahi and serve.
