Penne with Smoked Sausage and Peppers

Onion - large, sliced into half rings |

Green bell peppers, sliced into half rings |

Garlic powder or 1 tsp minced garlic |

Precooked smoked chicken or turkey sausage, sliced and halved or quartered |

Italian Style Diced Tomatoes - 15 oz each |

Parmesan cheese, grated, to taste |

Instructions
Prepare pasta according to package directions and drain.
In a large frying pan, heat oil and add onions, peppers and garlic. Saute until
softened, about 6 to 7 minutes. Add the sausage and saute for 4 more minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer sauce for 12 to 14 minutes.
In a large metal bowl, mix the pasta with the sauce and top
with cheese.
