Lowfat Crockpot Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Great tasting appetizer for any occasion. Serve with celery and carrots or a crusty bread cracker. Everyone will enjoy this tasty dish!

Serves 12

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
2 Can Artichoke Hearts- 14 oz, drained and finely chopped
1 pkg Frozen chopped spinach - 10 oz, thawed and squeezed dry
1 C Romano cheese, grated
1 C Low fat Mayonnaise
1/2 C Light sour cream
1/2 ea Onion, small - chopped
1 ea Garlic clove, minced
1/2 Tsp Crushed red pepper
1 Tsp Grated Lemon Zest


Instructions

Put artichokes, spinach, cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, onion, garlic, and crushed red pepper in a 5 or 6 quart slowcooker and mix ingredients well. Cover and cook until the cheese has melted and the dip is hot, approximately 1 to 2 hours on high and 3 to 4 hours on low. At the end of cooking time, stir in the lemon zest. Serve the dip warm .
