Green Salad with Pears and Walnuts
This is an easy salad to make. The combination of flavors in simply amazing!

Serves 4

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
2 Pears - large
1/4 lb Gorgonzola
1 C Walnuts
1 Tb Lemon juice
6 C Mixed Greens, torn into bite size pieces
1/2 C Vinaigrette


Instructions

Peel and core pears. Cut them into 1/2 inch chunks and toss with lemon juice. Cover and refrigerate until needed. Put walnuts in a dry skillet and toast them over medium heat, 3 to 5 minutes; shake pan frequently. Set aside to cool. Crumble cheese into small bits, then refrigerate until needed. When ready to serve, toss pears, cheese, and lettuce together with dressing. Crumble walnuts over the salad and serve immediately.
