Olive Oil Croutons
This is an easy way to use up that stale bread while making a great side dish!

Serves 4

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
4 Slices thick bread
1/4 C Olive Oil - Extra virgin
1 Garlic - clove, smashed and peeled
Salt


Instructions

Place the oil into a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic, cooking until it is lightly browned, turning occasionally. Add slices of bread and cook, adjusting heat so they brown nicely. Turn occasionally. Remove, and sprinkle with salt. Serve hot or at room temperature.
