Smothered Pork Chops with Mushrooms
Great for family get togethers. So wonderful and easy.

Serves 4

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
4 ea Pork loin chops - center cut boneless
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Freshly Ground Pepper
1 Can Cream of Mushroom soup - 10.75 oz - reduced sodium reduced fat
1/4 C Water
4 ea Carrots, chopped
1/4 lb Fresh white mushrooms, sliced
1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tsp Dried Marjoram
1/2 Tsp Dried Thyme


Instructions

Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Spray a skillet with cooking spray and turn on medium heat. Add the pork and cook until browned about 2 minutes on each side.

Put the soup, water, carrots, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, marjoram, and thyme in a crock pot and put chops on top. Cover and cook until both the pork and vegetables are fork tender, 4 hours on high and 8 hours on low.
