Grilled Salmon with Wasabi Ginger Aioli
This is delicious. Most markets carry wasabi paste in the Asian section. If your market only carries the powder, reconstitute it with a little water to make wasabi paste.

Serves 4

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
4 ea Salmon fillets - 6 oz each
1/2 C Mayonnaise
1 1/2 Tb Wasabi paste
2 Tsp Fresh ginger, grated
1 ea Lime
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

Preheat grill to medium high heat making sure grill is clean and oiled. Grate the zest from the lime, and juice half of it. Combine juice, zest, wasabi, mayonnaise and ginger. Season the salmon with salt and pepper to taste and spread about 2 TB of the mayonnaise mixture over the salmon, reserving the rest. Grill the salmon about 8 minutes, turning halfway, or until done. Serve with reserved sauce.
