Creamy Tomato Soup
Absolute comfort food. Serve with a toasted cheese sandwich and it will transport you home to your childhood.

Serves 2

Ingredients

Qty Unit Ingredient
1 Can Chopped tomatoes - Italian style 14.5 oz
1/3 C Cream
1 Tb Butter
1/2 C Onion, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tsp Flour
2 C Water


Instructions

In a soup pot over medium high heat, cook onion in butter until softened. Stir in flour and simmer 1 minute. Add tomatoes and water; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in cream and serve.
