Instructions
In a large pot, combine pototoes, broth and onion. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cook until potatoes are done abou 10 minutes more.
Working in small batches puree soup in a blender or processor, then return to pot and add orange juice and season with salt and pepper.
In a skillet melt the butter and saute the pears
for 5 minutes, or until they are tender and then add ginger. Add the pears to the mixture in the pot and stir in the liqeur and buttermilk. Cook on low heat until heated through. Nutritional Information
